Welcome to HollyDay Farms Fishing Pond & Picnic Area Open 365 Days a Year | By Appointment Only | Sunrise to Sunset Looking for a peaceful day outdoors? Come enjoy our beautiful 2-acre, all-natural pond and park-like setting at HollyDay Farms! Whether you’re casting a line or enjoying a quiet picnic, our grounds are open daily—by appointment only—from sunrise to sunset. While your arrival time will say 1 hour, you’re welcome to stay until sunset and soak up the day. Fishing Details • No fishing license required—this is a private pond. • We are proudly catch-and-release only to preserve our natural ecosystem. • Our pond is home to largemouth bass, crappie, sunfish, brim, and more. • Minnow bait is not allowed. You may bring your own bait (worms/lures) or purchase: o Nightcrawlers: $6 (container of 12, cut in half for more use) o Rod rental: $5 per pole • Want help getting started? A fishing instructor is available for $20/hour (book 3 days in advance). Text Holly at 980-328-8307 for availability. Picnic & Park Perks • Enjoy our fishing dock, gazebo, shaded seating, porch swing, and bridge to a small island. • We also have picnic tables, a fire pit area, and limited concessions (cold drinks, bait, rod rental). • Guests are welcome to bring: o Lawn chairs, picnic blankets o Food & drinks in a cooler (no alcohol) o A canopy tent or shade umbrella Pricing • Adults & Teens (13+): $10 per person (fishing or not) • Kids 12 & under: FREE! • Payment is non-refundable and helps us maintain the pond and property. Important Info • Waivers are required for all guests. Each adult must click on the waiver link and sign electronically: • Children under 18 must have a parent-signed waiver. • No pets, no swimming, no alcohol, and no barbecuing. • Wheelchair accessible & flat terrain • We currently do not have a porta potty, but we do offer a private commode station with a screen. • Be mindful of fire ant hills and muskrat holes when walking the grounds. Pond Tips from Locals • South side (by the road): Deepest area, natural spring-fed—best for bass. • North side (near the house): Shallower and warmer—sunfish, crappie, and brim thrive here. • Gazebo and island spots almost guarantee you’ll catch something! Parking & Check-In When you arrive, park on the field side of the driveway between two trees. If you were not able to sign your waiver electronically, please head to the concession stand to sign one in person.
