Sometimes you want a simple picnic and peaceful time together. Sometimes you want a beautifully styled meal beside the pond. And sometimes you want the pondside estate reserved privately and transformed into an unforgettable romantic experience created just for the two of you.
Located in Monroe, North Carolina, just 45 minutes south of Charlotte, HollyDay Farms offers six romantic experiences arranged across two distinct tiers.
As you continue down the page, each experience becomes more private, elaborate and luxurious—from a simple picnic-table date with food you bring yourselves to our signature Enchanted Date Night Experience featuring private dining and a romantic journey throughout the property.
All experiences are designed for two guests and include approximately two hours at HollyDay Farms, a reserved and prepared setting, complete setup and cleanup, and access to fishing rods, bait and a basic tackle kit.

Relaxed, affordable and beautifully prepared
Our Tier One experiences are perfect for couples who want a peaceful farm date without reserving the property privately.
Your designated picnic area will be reserved and fully prepared before you arrive. However, HollyDay Farms may remain open to a limited number of other guests who are fishing or enjoying their own reserved picnic areas elsewhere on the property.
To preserve the peaceful atmosphere for everyone, Tier One experiences are quiet picnics. Personal speakers and amplified music are not permitted during these shared-farm experiences.

After your meal, you may walk around the pond, visit the gazebo, relax beneath the trees or enjoy fishing together.

Our Tier Two experiences include private use of the HollyDay Farms pond area and romantic spaces during your reservation.
There will be no other fishers, picnickers or outside guests in the pond area. You may relax, explore, take photographs, fish, sit beside the water and enjoy your experience without strangers nearby.

Romance does not have to end because of rain or cooler weather.
When appropriate and available, eligible private experiences may be moved inside our 15-foot clear weather-resistant dome with lighting and a portable heater.
